JOB TITLE:                     Contentious Probate Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED:         NQ-6 years

LOCATION:                  Greater Manchester (commutable from Altrincham, Macclesfield, Manchester, Northwich, Stockport and Warrington)

SALARY:                        Competitive

 

THE ROLE:

As a contentious probate solicitor you will, with support appropriate to your experience level, be managing your own caseload covering all areas of this discipline. You can expect to be working on disputes relating to trusts and inheritance (including Inheritance Act claims), administration disputes, challenges to wills, removal of executors and proprietary estoppel. This role comes with excellent prospects for career progression and further training and as such the appointed contentious probate solicitor will in time be sponsored to attain the ACTAPS qualification.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

We are looking to speak to contentious probate solicitors anywhere within their first six years after qualification. This role would also suit NQs with experience in either general litigation or non-contentious private client matters who are looking to specialise in this challenging and rewarding area of law. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must as is a genuine desire to contributed to the contentious probate team’s ongoing success.
