JOB TITLE: Construction Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: NQ-3 years PQE

The appointed Construction Solicitor will join a department who handles all legal aspects of a wide range of construction projects and regularly provide advice in relation to procurement options and strategies. In addition, the department also handles contentious construction matters. The successful Construction Solicitor will advise on a mixture of contentious and non-contentious matters and will have the opportunity to get involved in an interesting portfolio of high quality and rewarding construction work.
Our client is looking to appoint a Construction Solicitor who has gained a high calibre of experience either during their training contract or as part of their post qualification experience. The Construction Solicitor should have been part of a team at leading national, regional or city law or alternatively, our client will consider applications from in-house candidates who have worked in the construction industry. The Construction Solicitor should be familiar with a full range of contracts such as JCT and NEC. It is extremely important to our client that the successful Construction Solicitor is a team player, had an excellent commercial awareness and strong technical capability. In addition, it will be expected that the appointed Construction Solicitor will have proven experience of undertaking networking and should be prepared to do that in this role.
