Our client’s commercial dispute resolution department are renowned for handling high value and complex, cross border disputes. They are now looking for a newly qualified or junior Commercial Litigation Solicitor to add to the offerings of the team. The appointed Commercial Litigation Solicitor will support the Partners and other members of the team in providing strategic and commercial legal advice on a full range of disputes. The successful Commercial Litigation Solicitor will have the opportunity to gain a strong grounding in this area of the law by being exposed to a diverse range of industries including transport, public procurement, education and energy. In addition, the successful Commercial Litigation Solicitor will be expected to work with other sector specialists across the firm to increase their knowledge and the breadth of the department, as well as undertaking business development.
The ideal Commercial Litigation Solicitor will have excellent academics and will have gained some experience at another leading firm. If the Commercial Litigation Solicitor is an NQ, they should have completed at least one seat on their training contract in dispute resolution. Our client is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Solicitor who can demonstrate the ability to analyse complex situations and display a clear commercial acumen. In addition, it is important that the Commercial Litigation Solicitor appreciates the importance of providing a first rate client service.
