JOB TITLE: Commercial / IT Solicitor
PQE: 4 years +
The successful Commercial / IT Solicitor will possess a genuine passion for Commercial / IT law with some experience in procurement. The team which the successful Commercial / IT Solicitor will be joining, provides specialist non-contentious legal advice to new and existing clients in relation to IT and commercial law matters (i.e. projects, procurements, outsourcing and licensing arrangements). Advising Government, Universities and insutruy clients on signifivant projects, the appointed Commercial / IT Solicitor will possess a strong determination and passion to further their career as a Commercial Solicitor within these areas. Therefore, networking and client contact are important aspects of the role as Commercial / IT Solicitor.
As the newly appointed Commercial Solicitor you will be responsible for duties including; supporting a team advising, drafting and negotiating on behalf of clients in relation to Commercial / IT focussed contracts or high value, high profile and complex projects. This involves either providing specialist advice on often complex issues within the transaction / contract / project or solving problems across the legal / commercial divide, providing support with marketing and business. The successful Commercial Solicitor will have a minimum of 4 years PQE and be client focussed, with strong management and organisational skills and robust communication skills.
