This interim role is primarily to support the Head of Legal with providing input on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) project being run within the company. It is envisaged that approx. 60% of the lawyer’s time will be spent on GDPR or data protection matters.  For the remainder of the time, the role will include the provision of ad hoc legal advice on a range of issues affecting the business.



My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Contract & Data Protection Solicitor who is focused on great client service to assist in the continued development of there excellent team for a period of 6 months, possibly 12 months on a FTC.  Our client is looking for a candidate who will be a legal contact for there GDPR project as well as cover Commercial Contract work on an ADHOC basis.  The role entails extensive contact and interaction with business representatives at all levels of the organisation as well as with internal international lawyers, internal data protection specialist lawyers and external counsel.  The ideal candidate will have Prior in-house legal experience and Demonstrable data protection experience gained via commercial contracts work.  Experience with the Consumer Credit Act and related consumer regulations highly preferred.
