This positon will see you joining a highly ranked practice who are a leading provider of legal services to the health, social care and housing sectors, as well as in the field of professional discipline. You will become an integral part of the advisory and inquests team who form part of a wider clinical negligence law division.  You will be expected to carry out a wide range of work including providing an advisory and advocacy service for clients, acting in many leading inquest cases.  You will also be expected to advise client on matters such as public law issues, judicial reviews, court of protection, mental health issues, consent and confidentiality and clinical risk management.



Due to the nature of the work it is envisaged that the successful candidate will need to be a confident solicitor or barrister and an experienced advocate with great personal presence in court who is dynamic, self-motivated and able to develop skills to work with senior officers of the firm’s clients. You will have already gained some excellent experience working in clinical negligence law with a minimum of 2+ years PQE with previous experience in advisory & inquests being highly desirable.  You will also be a confident communicator who is able to build excellent relationships with clients, being able to act with high professionalism and able to gain the respect of both clients and your colleagues.  advocacy experience gained preferably within a leading healthcare practice of solicitors or barristers is essential.
