JOB TITLE:                 Childcare Solicitor  

PQE REQUIRED:         3+ PQE

LOCATION:                  Sheffield

SALARY:                       Competitive, commensurate on experience


As a childcare solicitor you will have full autonomy over your own caseload and will be acting on behalf of both guardians and local authorities. Your work will be predominantly publically funded and will include issues such as care proceedings, abduction, abuse, grandparents’ rights, special guardianship orders and cases involving social services. The childcare team has ambitious plans for growth and as such it is expected that you will play an active role in their marketing and business development activities.



We are looking for experienced childcare solicitors with at least three years PQE and membership of the Law Society’s children’s panel. Candidates  must also possess a demonstrable aptitude for business generation. An impeccable knowledge of child law is essential as are the empathetic abilities that the nature of this work calls for. A demonstrable desire to build upon the childcare team’s continuing success is also a must.
