JOB TITLE:                   Childcare Solicitor

PQE REQUIRED:         3+ years

LOCATION:                  Doncaster

SALARY:                      Competitive, commensurate on experience

THE ROLE:

As a childcare solicitor you will have full autonomy over your own caseload consisting of publically funded childcare cases. You can expect to be working on issues such as care proceedings, abduction, domestic abuse, grandparents’ rights, special guardianship orders and cases involving social services. It is expected that you will also play an active role in the childcare department’s marketing and business development activities.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

We are interested in speaking to childcare or family solicitors with at least three years PQE and experience in handling legal aid funded childcare cases. Membership of the children’s panel would also be highly advantageous. Candidates must possess the empathetic abilities that the nature of this work calls for. A demonstrable desire to build upon the childcare team’s continuing success is also a must.
