THE ROLE:

This is a great opportunity for someone to join these departments to develop your current knowledge and work with a variety of different people. You will have responsibility for and will develop and deal with a caseload of Child Care and/or Family work. This will include divorce & separation, related financial and private law children matters, domestic abuse cases, care proceedings and child abuse and child neglect cases.  You will also be expected to develop and maintain local and regional networks to attract and secure new business.

 

THE CANDIDATE:

As the ideal candidate you will have a  minimum of 2 years experience in Child Care and/or Family Law, having the ability to run your own caseload and act with some autonomy.  Advocacy skills with the ability and willingness to conduct own advocacy wherever possible coupled with good client care skills and commitment to these areas of work are required to fulfil the position.  You will also demonstrate that you can work to tight deadlines, under pressure and to financial targets along with remaining professional and acting with integrity at all times.  It is not essential but highly desirable if you are a member to the Children Panel or Resolution Accreditation.
