JOB TITLE: Business Crime Solicitor

A excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Crime Solicitor to join a thriving niche business crime and regulatory firm. This role will be extremely varied and will involve dealing with matters including corporate crime, financial crime, financial regulatory enforcement, tax investigations, dispute resolution, anti-money laundering and anti-bribery and corruption compliance. In addition, the role will also include an element of health and safety offences, and the appointed Business Crime Solicitor will assist in providing pragmatic solutions in relation to accident investigations and enforcement action, including regulatory breaches.
The ideal Business Crime Solicitor will have an excellent academic record and will have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience working within business/regulatory crime. You will have expertise in all areas of corporate and financial crime and it would be useful if you have had some experience in health and safety offences, corporate manslaughter, regulatory and disciplinary proceedings and cyber crime, although this is not a mandatory requirement. The Business Crime Solicitor should be confident in their ability to advise clients affected by prosecutions brought by UK authorities including the SFO, FCA, NCA and CMA, and have had some experience working on cases involving those organisations. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and be prepared to keep abreast of changes in this area of law and the commercial market as a whole.
