JOB TITLE: Education Law Solicitor
PQE: 6+ PQE
LOCATION: Cambridge
SALARY: £Dependent on experience

THE ROLE:
A Legal 500 rated team is seeking an experienced Lawyer specialising in education law to join their established legal team in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Education Law specialist to work with a diverse client base across the higher education sector, including universities, colleges, educational institutions and related organisations. You will advise on a broad range of matters, providing strategic advice on safeguarding, student issues and data protection. If your looking for a varied caseload including potential high-profile matters, investigations and litigation then this is the role for you! You will also be expected to maintain a strong understanding of developments across the higher education sector, including policy changes, emerging regulatory issues and wider sector news.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will have at least 6 years PQE in dealing with a broad client base within the education sector. Ideal Education Lawyers will have a strong track record of advising universities, colleges, educational organisations and higher education institutions. The successful Education Lawyer will have extensive experience in advising on regulatory matters, student issues and data protection and have a proven background of handling complex and in some cases high-profile matters. A genuine interest in higher education policy, sector developments and emerging legal issues.
