Contentious Probate Lawyer – 5+ Years’ Experience, Bedfordshire / Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Bonus. Working within a growing Litigation team, you will handle complex and high-value Contentious Probate disputes for a diverse client base, with the benefit of hybrid working, excellent benefits and genuine opportunities for career progression within a supportive and collaborative environment. THE ROLE:
The successful Contentious Probate Lawyer will manage a varied caseload of complex and high-value disputes from initial instruction through to resolution. You will provide clear, practical advice on sensitive and often complex private client litigation matters, while conducting legal research, undertaking early case assessments and developing appropriate case strategies. Your responsibilities will also include drafting pleadings and court documentation, preparing matters for hearings, conferences and mediations, and ensuring all court deadlines and procedural requirements are met. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Litigation team and build strong, trusted relationships with clients.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with at least 5 years’ litigation experience, together with a strong background in Contentious Probate matters. You will have excellent technical knowledge and be confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision. A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach is essential, alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to advise clients on sensitive matters with empathy, professionalism and confidence.
