Civil and Commercial Litigation Solicitor (Newly Qualified)

CIVIL LITIGATION SOLICITOR / CILEX LAWYER – DISPUTE RESOLUTION / WORCESTER

Are you an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer looking for a new challenge with a firm that offers a genuinely varied caseload and the opportunity to work closely with both commercial and private clients?

Our client is looking to strengthen its Dispute Resolution team with an experienced litigator who can take responsibility for a varied caseload and provide high-quality advice to clients.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of civil disputes, including boundary disputes, defamation, public and private nuisance, harassment and Party Wall Act claims. There is also the opportunity to become involved in commercial litigation work, making this an excellent role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing their expertise.

You will work alongside a friendly and experienced multi-disciplinary team, including solicitors, CILEX lawyers, associates, paralegals and support staff.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with Dispute Resolution Practising Rights

Solid post-qualified experience within civil litigation

Experience managing a varied caseload from instruction through to resolution

Strong client care skills and a commercial, solutions-focused approach

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience of ADR

The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team

A keen interest in business development and developing client relationships

Experience of commercial litigation and advocacy in the Civil Courts would be advantageous, although applications will be considered from candidates with a strong general civil litigation background.
