Job Description
Locum Regulatory Solicitor, London / Hybrid, Immediate Start, Competitive Rate. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior Regulatory Solicitor to join a leading law firm on a locum basis, supporting a project involving the regulatory aspects of syndicated lending transactions. The role offers flexible hybrid working, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in the London office, and is ideally suited to a regulatory lawyer with strong financial services experience who can start at short notice. Job Ref: 5278
THE ROLE:
An experienced Regulatory Solicitor is sought to join a highly regarded team in London on a locum basis, working closely with and reporting directly to a Partner on a specialist project.
The successful candidate will advise on the regulatory aspects of syndicated lending transactions, requiring a strong understanding of the relevant financial services regulatory framework and current market practice.
This is a specialist requirement and would suit a senior regulatory lawyer who has previously worked within a recognised banking, finance or financial services regulatory team and is comfortable navigating the regulatory considerations arising in complex syndicated lending matters.
The assignment has arisen to provide additional support on a specific ongoing project. The requirement will be reviewed as the project develops, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced locum looking to work on high-quality, specialist financial services matters.

You will ideally have:
•Significant experience within a financial services regulatory, banking or finance team.
•Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework applicable to financial services transactions.
•Specific experience advising on the regulatory aspects of syndicated lending transactions.
•An understanding of relevant market practice and the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
•The confidence and experience to work autonomously on complex matters and provide support at short notice.

THE PACKAGE:
On offer is a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to join a leading London law firm on an immediate locum assignment.
The role offers:
•Immediate start / short notice availability required.
•Hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the London office.
•Senior-level, specialist financial services regulatory work.
•The opportunity to work directly with a Partner on an important ongoing project.
•Flexible assignment duration, with the requirement to be reviewed as the project develops.
