Job Description
Private Client Solicitor | West Midlands | Full Time | 5+ PQE | Flexible Hybrid Working | Are you looking to join a respected and well-established law firm? A firm in the West Midlands is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its close knit and friendly team. To register your interest, please contact Alicia Forde on 0121 454 1004 or email alicia.forde@enllegal.co.uk quoting Job Ref: 5261
The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a close-knit and collaborative team at an exciting stage of the firm's growth.
The department is looking to appoint a full-time fee earner to complement its existing part-time lawyers and play an important role in expanding and strengthening the firm's Private Client offering.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working autonomously, values high-quality client relationships and is looking for a long-term role within a genuinely supportive and people-focused firm.
Your Caseload:
You will deal with a broad range of Private Client matters, including:
• Wills, Trusts and Probate.
• Establishment of Trusts, including Vulnerable Person Trusts.
• Standard Estate Administration, together with some higher-value and high-net-worth estates.
• Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Preparing and drafting Wills independently and confidently.
The role is designed to allow you to concentrate on technical legal work and client relationships. File opening is managed by the firm's dedicated administrative team, helping to reduce the administrative burden and maximise your time spent on fee-earning work.
What the firm is looking for:
The successful candidate will ideally be:
• A qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE, or equivalent experience, gained within Private Client.
• Technically strong across the main areas of Private Client law.
• Comfortable managing matters independently with limited supervision.
• A confident and effective communicator with a friendly, approachable manner.
• Highly client-focused, with a genuine commitment to providing a personal service.
• A collaborative team player who will thrive within a close-knit, supportive and family-oriented environment.
• Someone with an existing client following, ideally, although this is not essential.
Working Environment:
The firm offers a genuinely flexible and supportive approach to working, with a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing and creating a positive workplace culture.
Key benefits include:
• Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation.
• A flexible approach focused on people rather than rigid processes.
• A friendly and approachable working environment.
• A small, close-knit team where colleagues genuinely support one another.
• A collaborative culture with a strong emphasis on teamwork and shared success.
Why Consider This Role?
This position would suit an established Private Client Solicitor who is looking beyond simply their next job and is seeking a stable, long-term career opportunity with a firm that genuinely values its employees.
With flexibility, autonomy and a supportive team environment, this is an opportunity to become an important part of a growing Private Client department while enjoying a healthy degree of trust and independence in your day-to-day work.
