THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Cambridgeshire, where you will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload and work with a high degree of independence. The firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer who is capable of working independently without day-to-day supervision, providing trusted advice and an excellent level of client service. As the appointed Private Client Lawyer, you will deal with a broad range of private client matters including: Will drafting, Administration of estates and Probate, Powers of Attorney and Deputyships, Trusts, Inheritance Tax planning and wider private client and estate planning matters. This presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Lawyer who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the continued development of the department, with genuine potential to progress towards Director level.

THE CANDIDATE
The firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer with strong experience across a broad range of Private Client matters and who is confident managing their own caseload from instruction through to completion. Applications are welcomed from Private Client Lawyers with at least 4 years' PQE who are experienced in handling their own caseload with minimal supervision. You will have excellent client care and communication skills, together with the desire to progress and take on additional responsibilities. There is scope to take on a Director-level role, and you will be able to demonstrate the ambition and experience to develop into a senior leadership position. You may currently be working within a larger Cambridge firm, a regional practice or another local law firm and be looking for more autonomy, greater progression or a better overall work-life balance.
