Position: Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer / Legal Executive
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Overview
An established and well-regarded law firm in Somerset is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its growing property team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive firm with a strong local reputation and a steady workflow of high-quality instructions.

The Role
You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New build transactions
• Shared ownership and Help to Buy matters

You will be supported by an experienced team and will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
• Running a full and varied residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the transaction
• Liaising with estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders
• Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and in line with compliance requirements
• Supporting the wider team where required

About You
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
• Proven experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• A team player with a proactive and professional approach
