Job Description

Private Client Solicitor | 7+ PQE | Somerset | Up to £60k | Hybrid

A well-established, family-run law firm in Somerset is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing and highly regarded team. With a strong local presence and an excellent reputation, the firm offers a supportive, collaborative environment alongside a genuine commitment to work-life balance.

This opportunity has arisen due to a planned senior departure, giving you the chance to step into a busy and varied caseload of wills, probate and estate administration matters. You’ll play an active role in the ongoing development of the department, with clear scope to progress into a Head of Department position for the right individual.

The role is ideal for a solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) who is confident managing files independently and enjoys building strong client relationships. Experience in trusts would be beneficial but is not essential.

In return, the firm offers flexible hybrid working, a friendly and down-to-earth culture, and a range of benefits including birthday leave, social events and dog-friendly offices. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking long-term progression within a stable and supportive firm.
