Job Description

Commercial Property Fee Earner | Devon | Full-Time, Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits

A well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Devon is continuing to grow and is now looking to recruit a Commercial Property Fee Earner to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal, qualified solicitor, or CILEX/FILEX professional seeking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

The firm has built a strong reputation across the South West and, due to increasing client demand, is investing in its commercial property offering. You will join a collaborative team and take on responsibility from day one, working on a broad range of commercial property matters.

The role will involve managing your own caseload, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, leases, and development work, as well as supporting wider commercial transactions where required. You will be advising clients on a range of property-related matters, drafting and negotiating legal documents, and ensuring transactions progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.

You will be encouraged to build and maintain strong client and referrer relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, and play an active role in the continued growth of the department. There will also be opportunities to support and mentor junior team members.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial property law, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage their own caseload with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with a proactive and commercially aware approach.

In return, the firm offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including generous annual leave, additional gifted leave, private health cover, wellness initiatives, and regular social and networking events. The firm prides itself on fostering an inclusive, supportive culture with clear opportunities for development and progression.
