Family Solicitor

Family Solicitor | Somerset | Full-Time | Permanent | Up to £60k DOE

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Somerset is looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor to join its busy and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, handling a broad and interesting caseload.

The role will involve managing a range of family law matters, including divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, private children work, cohabitation disputes, domestic abuse applications, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. You will be responsible for running your own caseload from instruction through to completion, providing high-quality advice and maintaining excellent client care throughout.

The successful candidate will be confident managing files independently, with strong communication and organisational skills. You will be comfortable meeting clients face-to-face, drafting legal documentation, and representing clients in negotiations and proceedings where required. A proactive and team-oriented approach is key, along with a genuine interest in developing within a busy family department.
