OVERVIEW:
• Join a well established law firm as part of a busy finance team
• Manage all financial aspects of the firm’s legal work in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules and internal procedures
• Handle both client and office accounts accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis
• Process payments, receipts and financial transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Work closely with Fee Earners and management to support financial operations
• Provide accurate financial reporting and ensure transparency across all transactions
• Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier, ideally within a law firm
• Strong understanding of accounting procedures and regulatory requirements, including client and office accounts
• Highly organised, numerate and detail-oriented
• Proficient in accounting software and confident using IT systems
• Experience preparing reconciliations, reports and financial summaries
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams
• Proactive approach to problem-solving
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
