Head of Private Client | Gloucestershire | Hybrid | Job Ref: 215303113

A well-established law firm with offices in Gloucestershire is seeking an experienced Head of Private Client to lead its established department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to step into a key leadership role.

The Role
You will lead and manage the Private Client department while also maintaining your own varied caseload. You will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the team, overseeing junior members of staff and ensuring the delivery of a high standard of client care.

Your caseload will include a broad range of private client matters, including:
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts
• Wills and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax advice and tax planning

Candidate Requirements
• Qualified Solicitor with 7+ years’ PQE within Private Client
• Strong technical expertise across Probate, Trusts, Wills, LPAs and Inheritance Tax matters
• Previous managerial or leadership experience, ideally supervising or managing a team
• Strong client relationship management and business development skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while leading and developing a team
