Job Description

Private Client Solicitor | 5+ PQE | Somerset | Hybrid / Flexible Working | Competitive Salary DOE

A leading Somerset practice is looking to recruit a senior Private Client Solicitor to join its established and growing team. This role is suited to an experienced practitioner seeking high-calibre work, supervisory responsibility and clear long-term progression.

You will manage a varied and often complex caseload spanning wills, succession planning, LPAs, trust creation and administration, probate and estate administration, and inheritance tax planning. The client base includes high-value estates and longstanding family clients, offering the opportunity to build trusted adviser relationships.

In addition to fee-earning responsibilities, you will provide guidance and oversight to a Private Client Lawyer and Legal Assistant, supporting their development and contributing to the continued success of the department.

Applicants should have a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience in private client law, strong technical expertise across complex matters, and the confidence to supervise and mentor junior colleagues. A commercial mindset and commitment to delivering outstanding client service are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Somerset firm offering quality work, flexibility and genuine career progression.
