JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor                 
PQE REQUIRED: 3+       
LOCATION: North Yorkshire                 
SALARY: £40,000+ DOE                     

THE ROLE:
You will manage your own varied caseload of private family matters including divorce, financial remedy, private children work and associated matrimonial issues. Depending on your experience, you may also be involved in more complex financial cases and high-conflict children matters.
You will play an active role in maintaining and developing client relationships and will be encouraged to contribute to business development and networking initiatives. The firm offers genuine autonomy, while maintaining a collaborative team structure that ensures appropriate support where required.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth of the department and may provide supervision or mentoring to more junior colleagues where appropriate.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in family law and a strong technical understanding of private family matters. You will be confident managing your own caseload independently and running files from instruction through to conclusion.
You will demonstrate excellent client care skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism. Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness are essential, along with a proactive and positive approach to team collaboration.
You will be ambitious, motivated and keen to progress your career within a firm that values long term development.
