JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor                  
PQE REQUIRED: 1+       
LOCATION: North Yorkshire                
SALARY: £40,000+  DOE                 

THE ROLE:
You will manage a varied caseload of privately funded and/or publicly funded family matters, depending on your level of experience and preference. The work will include divorce and financial remedy matters, private children work and potentially care proceedings if this aligns with your background. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously while also benefiting from the support of an experienced and collaborative team. The firm offers flexibility in terms of office location and is keen to accommodate Solicitors across its regional network. You will be encouraged to build and develop client relationships and play an active role in business development where appropriate. The firm places real emphasis on client care, quality of work and long term career progression.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year’s PQE in family law, although applications are welcomed from all qualification levels. You will demonstrate strong technical knowledge appropriate to your level of experience and a genuine interest in family law. You will be confident managing your own caseload or working towards doing so with supervision. Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client focused approach are essential, as you will be advising clients during sensitive and often complex situations.
You will be commercially aware, organised and motivated to contribute positively to a busy and supportive team environment.
