THE ROLE:
You will manage a varied caseload of complex investigation and enforcement matters, including fitness to practise cases, interim measures, sanctions, and disciplinary proceedings. The role involves exercising delegated decision making authority within the regulatory framework, handling high risk cases, supporting litigation where necessary, and contributing to consistent, high quality regulatory decision making.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are open to qualified solicitors, barristers or FCILEX in England and Wales or the equivalent in a foreign common law jurisdiction, with experience managing a complex caseload within litigation or tribunal proceedings. You will demonstrate excellent drafting skills, including preparing charges, instructions to counsel and formal correspondence. The appointed lawyer will be confident in making sound, evidence based decisions, capable of working both independently and in a team.
