Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Somerset (Hybrid – any office location)
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Commercial Property Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a well-established and highly regarded firm in Somerset. This role offers the chance to provide expert legal advice across a broad range of agricultural and rural property matters, working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

This position would suit a Commercial Property Lawyer with some agricultural experience who is looking to develop or further specialise in this area.

Key Responsibilities
• Managing a diverse caseload of agricultural and rural property matters.
• Advising on sales and acquisitions of farms, land and rural estates.
• Handling agricultural tenancies (including AHA and FBT agreements).
• Dealing with easements, rights of way, covenants and title issues.
• Supporting diversification and rural development projects.
• Delivering commercially focused advice tailored to client objectives.
• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Skills & Experience
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE.
• Experience in agricultural and/or rural property matters (commercial property lawyers with relevant exposure encouraged to apply).
• Strong technical knowledge of property law and rural transactions.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to understand client priorities.
• Ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
