JOB TITLE: Residential Development Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2+
LOCATION: Hampshire
SALARY: £55,000 - £75,000 (DOE)
THE ROLE:
An opportunity has arisen for a Residential Development Solicitor to join a highly regarded real estate team with a strong reputation in development work. This position offers immediate exposure to an established and significant developer client, providing consistent workflow and genuine security from the outset.
You will advise on the full lifecycle of residential development projects, from strategic land acquisition through to planning, infrastructure arrangements and plot sales. The work will include conditional contracts, option and promotion agreements, section 106 agreements, infrastructure and utility documentation, and ongoing site disposals. You will work closely with experienced Partners while also taking responsibility for managing matters independently where appropriate.
This is a well-supported role within a collaborative team, offering clear progression and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships within a stable and growing practice.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience in residential development or real estate work, with a solid grounding in development transactions. You will demonstrate strong technical ability, commercial awareness and confidence in managing transactions. Experience acting for developer clients would be advantageous. You will be organised, proactive and comfortable liaising directly with clients and other professionals involved in development projects.

PACKAGE:
