OVERVIEW:
• Advising farmers, landowners, estates and agri-businesses on a broad range of agricultural and rural property matters
• Handling high quality transactions including the sale and purchase of farms, land, woodlands and landed estates
• Managing agricultural secured lending matters
• Negotiating and drafting documentation relating to renewable energy projects
• Advising on agricultural tenancies, easements and option and pre-emption agreements
• Working closely with experienced Partners on complex and specialist instructions
• Building and maintaining strong, long standing client relationships within the rural sector
• A minimum of 1 years’ PQE with experience in agricultural or estates-related property transactions
• Confident managing files with appropriate supervision and keen to develop specialist expertise
• Experience in renewable energy, secured lending or rural rights (e.g. mines and minerals, sporting rights or commons) advantageous but not essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and professional contacts
• Proactive, commercially aware and genuinely interested in agricultural and rural property work
• A collaborative team player with a client focused approach
