Agriculture Solicitor, 8+ Years PQE, London, £120 – £160K (DOE) – This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of one of the most respected agricultural property teams in the UK, advising on high-value, complex and nationally significant transactions. JOB REF: 2830.
THE ROLE:
• You will be responsible for a varied agricultural caseload to include investment sales and acquisitions, strategic land and development projects, sale and purchase of farms, estates and agricultural land, equine property transactions and agricultural and business tenancies.
• You will advise an impressive and diverse client base including universities and colleges, charities and pension funds, farming businesses and land investors and trustees.
• The nature of the work supports the development of long-term, trusted relationships with both clients and their professional agents.
• You will be confident and capable of leading on complex agricultural matters.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Agriculture Solicitors with a minimum of 8 Years PQE experience gained at a large regional or City law firm
• Significant experience in real estate, agricultural or rural property work
• Experience handling complex acquisitions, disposals and development projects
• Working knowledge of tax issues affecting rural and estate transactions
• Strong commercial awareness and drafting skills
