FAMILY SOLICITOR (LOCUM) 3+ PQE, North Yorkshire, £45 - £50 per hour, hybrid, on-going assignment, must be legal aid supervisor. A great opportunity for an experienced solicitor to assist a well-respected firm on a locum basis. • A full-time Locum Family Solicitor, who is also a Legal Aid Supervisor, is required to support the team on an interim basis
• The caseload will primarily consist of Care proceedings and PLO matters, together with a smaller number of Private Children cases
• The majority of the work will be legally aided, with some privately funded children matters included
• You must be confident managing your own files independently and able to conduct your own advocacy without supervision
• Attendance at the office is expected three to four days per week, with flexibility to reduce this to two to three days when court commitments allow
• The position offers a flexible start date, an initial term of at least three months, and the possibility of extension
• Dedicated support is provided by an experienced legal secretary
