Construction Solicitor (Contentious)

Contentious Construction Solicitor, 5+ Years PQE, Bristol, £85,000+ (DOE) – This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded lawyer with experience in construction disputes to develop their career in a collaborative and supportive environment. JOB REF:2514

THE ROLE:
• You will provide practical, solutions-focused advice to clients across a broad range of contentious construction matters.
• You will apply your technical expertise while considering the client’s business, sector, and commercial objectives.
• Advising clients on contentious construction matters across your areas of expertise
• Managing your own caseload, with support and supervision where required
• Supervising and delegating to junior team members as needed
• Contributing to business development activities and participating in the firm’s structured programme to build BD skills

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Construction Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years PQE in contentious construction matters
• Strong technical skills and a good understanding of construction issues
• Experience managing your own caseload, with an understanding of when to escalate issues
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues
• Proactive, self-motivated and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and a keen interest in developing business development skills
