About the Role:
A London-based practice is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Locum to provide additional capacity within their property team. This locum role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner with strong technical skills in landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals, and general property disputes.
You will work directly with partners and benefit from established paralegal and secretarial support, enabling you to focus on delivering high-quality client service. The firm operates on an office-first basis; however, remote flexibility will be offered after the first few weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload of landlord and tenant matters, including contested and uncontested lease renewals.
• Provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients and contribute to strategy planning.
• Progress matters efficiently using the firm’s Actionstep CMS.
Requirements:
• 7–10 years’ PQE in property litigation or commercial property with strong contentious experience.
• Proven experience handling landlord and tenant disputes and lease renewals.
• Experience with advising on general commercial property disputes is desirable.
