Regulatory Solicitor, 4+ PQE, Birmingham, £70K-£85K (DOE). An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join a top tier Legal 500 law firm. THE ROLE
  • Manage an investigatory caseload concerning registrants’ fitness to practise.
  • Handle issues involving misconduct, competence or health concerns.
  • Prepare cases for hearings before relevant panels or committees.
  • Work on a varied and challenging mix of matters including large-scale fraud, multi-patient clinical failings and inappropriate or sexualised conduct.
THE CANDIDATE
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 4 years’ PQE with experience in professional discipline, regulatory law, healthcare law or criminal litigation.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and case management skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and high-volume environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in evidential analysis, legal drafting and procedural strategy.
  • Confident in witness management and client liaison.
  • Advocacy or tribunal representation experience is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care regulatory framework is an advantage.
