RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY LAWYER, 2+ PQE, KENT, SALARY UP TO £40-55,000 (DOE). Join a well-regarded conveyancing team within a reputable, Lexcel accredited firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop and grow within a supportive environment. JOB REF: 215301979

OVERVIEW:

• The successful candidate will manage an independent caseload of freehold and leasehold matters, covering both sales and purchases, including new-build properties and Help to Buy transactions.

• Additionally, you will also handle remortgage matters from initial instruction through to completion, prepare and advise on Transfer of Equity documents, and draft residential tenancy agreements while providing appropriate legal guidance.

• You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to engage confidently with clients and colleagues, supported by solid technical expertise and a thorough understanding of Conveyancing processes.

• You will actively participate in the firm’s business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new opportunities for the department, including through proactive networking with local estate agents and other referrers.

• You will also represent the department at public and community events, promoting the firm and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
