Childcare Solicitor, 2+ PQE, Nottinghamshire, Salary - £DOE.  
This is an outstanding opportunity for an accredited Children Panel Childcare Solicitor to further develop their expertise within a supportive, progressive, and highly regarded family law team. You will take on a pivotal role in driving the department’s continued growth and success, delivering exceptional legal advice and representation to clients during some of the most sensitive and challenging times in their lives. THE ROLE: 
  • Handling a personal caseload of care proceedings from initial instruction to final hearings. 
  • Providing guidance on special guardianship applications and other public law children matters. 
  • Conducting advocacy and representing clients in court. 
  • Delivering clear, compassionate and practical advice to vulnerable clients. 
  • Contributing to departmental business development and promoting best practice. 
THE CANDIDATE: 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ PQE as a Childcare Solicitor. 
  • Law Society Children Panel Accreditation required, with a caseload focus on Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. 
  • Proven experience in public children law, managing a diverse caseload. 
  • Exceptional communication and client care skills, remaining calm, empathetic and professional under pressure. 
  • Ability to provide complex legal advice clearly and confidently.
