Job Description
Commercial Projects Solicitor, NQ-3 PQE, Oxfordshire, Salary Up To £60-70,000 (DOE). Exciting opportunity for a driven lawyer to join the nationally expanding team of this prestigious Legal 500 firm, advising on a wide spectrum of commercial contract matters and procurement work. To apply or to register your interest, please contact Gemma on 0207 183 8586 or email gemma.jones@enllegal.co.uk with your CV – JOB REF: 215301477
THE ROLE:
This highly regarded firm is seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join its growing team. You will take the lead on drafting and negotiating high-value commercial contracts (including financial and technical schedules) and coordinating project management to ensure exceptional client service.
The role also offers opportunities to build expertise in procurement, contribute to business development through tenders, pitches, and client events, mentor junior colleagues, and gain hands-on experience through secondments with key clients
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a Solicitor with between Newly Qualified and 3 years’ PQE, with a solid background in commercial law. You will have strong drafting skills, ideally with experience of the Model Services Contract, and the ability to deliver clear and practical legal advice. Experience working with government departments or in public procurement, as well as holding Security Clearance, would be advantageous but is not essential.
THE FIRM:
As part of an award-winning national firm offering a broad range of specialised legal services to commercial and private clients, you will work across diverse sectors - including private sector organisations, government departments, and contracting authorities - on complex and often nationally significant commercial contracts.
You will manage your own matters and aspects of major projects, supported by experienced lawyers who will help you develop your skills and reach your full potential. This role suits confident, proactive individuals who thrive on taking initiative and delivering high-quality work.
BENEFITS:
The firm offers an excellent salary and benefits package, including a performance-based staff bonus, generous pension, and five weeks’ annual leave with the option to buy or sell a week. Additional benefits include enhanced family-forming pay, income protection after two years, life assurance of up to ten times your salary, and access to a confidential employee assistance programme.
HOW TO APPLY:
Contact Gemma Jones on 0207 183 8586 or email gemma.jones@enllegal.co.uk with your CV or simply call for a confidential discussion.
eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission. As part of our candidate care process, we aim to respond to all applications in 7 days. If you have not been contacted within this timescale, your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
At eNL we value diversity and inclusion. We want to attract people at all levels and encourage applications from all suitably qualified candidates, whatever your ethnicity, religion, age, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or any characteristics protected by law in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
