THE ROLE:
You will investigate professional misconduct by gathering and analysing evidence, preparing case bundles, and drafting allegations, reports, and charges. The role involves managing correspondence with barristers, witnesses, and other stakeholders, making regulatory decisions, and handling your own caseload across investigations, enforcement, and Fitness to Practise. You will also contribute to policy development, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work with colleagues to achieve regulatory objectives.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are open to qualified solicitors, barristers, or legal executives with proven experience managing their own caseload, including complex, high-level cases. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and the capacity to assess risk and act independently. You will be adept at analysing and accurately summarising complex documentation and have experience engaging with the public and stakeholders in regulatory or legal contexts.
THE PACKAGE:
The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, requiring a minimum of four days per month in the office.
