Job Description
THE ROLE:
• Conduct litigation matters professionally, providing clients with a friendly, knowledgeable, and high-quality service.
• Comply fully with SRA and COLP/COFA regulations, along with firm policies and quality standards.
• Manage files to CQS standards, ensuring accurate and timely use of case management systems and relevant software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Supervise fee-earning work of colleagues where directed and manage support staff including paralegals and assistants.
• Participate in marketing activities and contribute to the firm’s external communications, including website content.
• Exercise financial control by managing billing, cash flow, and timely file closure.
• Maintain clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Attend and contribute to file reviews, departmental meetings, and staff training sessions.
• Keep up to date with changes in the law and maintain all professional accreditations and compliance training.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Qualified solicitor with 2+ years PQE in litigation.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Confident managing your own caseload and supervising junior staff.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Committed to professional development and maintaining high standards.
