Job Description

Personal Injury Solicitor (Disease Team), NQ-5 Years PQE, Birmingham, £45,000+ (DOE) - A new opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join an established Disease team, working with an exceptional group of professionals on behalf of major insurer clients and self-insured corporates. JOB REF:9927.

THE ROLE:
• Manage your own caseload of litigated noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) claims.
• Support senior colleagues on complex, high-value industrial disease cases, especially asbestos-related claims.
• Draft strategy reports, legal advice, pleadings, and conduct legal research.
• Attend court hearings, conferences, and client meetings.
• Engage in business development and sector alignment activities.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Experience handling NIHL or other industrial disease claims (fast and/or multi-track) would be advantageous.
• Strong litigation and case management skills.
• A client-focused, commercial, and solutions-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, legal analysis, and drafting skills.
• A collaborative approach and a commitment to high standards of service and professionalism.
• IT proficiency and the ability to adapt to agile working.
