JOB TITLE: Construction Lawyer (In-house)
PQE REQUIRED: 3+
LOCATION: West Midlands
SALARY: to £90K + car allowance + bonus

THE ROLE: Due to business growth an opportunity has arisen for an additional Construction Lawyer to join our clients legal team .As part of a small but strong legal team you will be at the very heart of the business advising on legal issues and reducing risk. The role will include;

• Working with a range of stakeholders across the business on construction projects.
• Reviewing tenders (including framework agreements, main contract terms and collateral warranties).
• Assisting in negotiating and agreeing terms with the business’ supply chain, as well as advising on the early stages of disputes.
• Providing assistance to other members of the legal team outside the core areas of your responsibility.
• Assisting the other members of the legal team on wider strategic projects..

THE CANDIDATE:
Ideal candidates will be:

• Qualified Solicitors with 3+ years’ PQE
• Experience in advising on construction projects
• Have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts involving both public and private sector parties
