THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for investigating the conduct of a defined group of professionals, drafting relevant charges and reports, and gathering evidence. This includes preparing case bundles, coordinating with the professional in question, witnesses, and other stakeholders involved in the regulatory process. The role also involves attending hearings, supporting counsel during tribunals, and assisting with appeals in the High Court.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are open to qualified solicitors, barristers and legal executives with extensive experience of investigatory casework. Qualified Solicitor or Barristers from other common law jurisdictions would also be considered. This role requires excellent prioritisation and meticulous attention to detail, which will enable you to analysis information/evidence and in turn will lead to great decision making. The appointed legal professional will be self-driven and compassionate, with the ability to support the team effectively and confidently.
