The appointed Procurement Lawyer will be dealing with a range of high quality non-contentious matters (domestic and international) spanning defence, healthcare, education, security, local and national public sector bodies and other private sector industries.

• The role will focus on designing procurement processes and assisting with the drafting of documents, working closely along with clients and the wider Commercial team. You will have the opportunity to provide excellent technical expertise and support large scale projects and commercial contracts.

• You will have a strong background in procurement and / or commercial work within the public sector, and ideally have gained your experience at a firm that handles good quality procurement matters. Familiarity with subsidy control law would also be advantageous.

• You will be confident and personable, comfortable running a procurement process with limited supervision and good commercial awareness. It is also essential that you are keen to develop your own skills and that of your more junior colleagues, and posses a willingness to involve yourself in team and sector development.
