OVERVIEW:
• The practice is seeking a Family Solicitor on a locum basis with Family Panel membership to handle a mix of private and publicly funded family matters.
• The assignment is to commence as soon as possible and will last for at least 3 months.
• The successful candidate will manage a diverse array of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, and financial settlements.
• You will provide specialised legal counsel and support to clients, ensuring their best interests are safeguarded.
• Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing legal documentation, such as applications, affidavits, and court orders.
• You will advocate for clients in court proceedings and mediation sessions.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, keeping them updated on case progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the legal team to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Hybrid working is available, but attendance at the office on a weekly basis is required, so this is not a fully remote role.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of practical experience in a similar role, gained in either national firms or niche boutique practices.
