JOB TITLE:        Tax and Trust Lawyer
EXPERIENCE:    2 years’ experience
LOCATION:        West Sussex
SALARY:            Competitive

The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, such as preparing Trust and Estate tax returns, personal tax returns, and conducting related tax calculations using the firm's software. Additionally, you will monitor deadlines for Trust and Estate matters, including ten-yearly charges and beneficial entitlements.

•Correspondence with clients, HM Revenue & Customs, and third parties is essential, as is ensuring compliance with deadlines.

•The ideal candidate for this role should have a relevant professional qualification, such as STEP, ATT, or be part-qualified for CTA, with a minimum of 2 years of substantial experience working in a private client or trust department.

•Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as you will play a pivotal role in training and mentoring junior staff members.
