OVERVIEW:
• A locum Prosecution Lawyer is required with at least 3 years of PQE to focus on a variety of prosecution cases to include civil advocacy matters.
• An experienced locum solicitor will be expected to adjust well and hit the ground running, with the ability to manage their own caseload effectively.
• The caseload consists of a wide range of civil matters and claims, including those relating to criminal activity, firearms, stalking prevention, domestic violence, and sexual offences.
• The candidate will be required to provide advocacy in courts, covering large geographical areas, so the ability and willingness to travel is essential.
• The appointed candidate will be able to work independently, with the ability to prepare their own applications and submissions, but shared assistance will be on hand to assist with the preparations of court bundles.
• Flexible working is available, providing options for hybrid or remote working (court attendance required)
• The right candidate will be a team player and be willing to help out where needed if the workload gets heavier.
